Though - I don't think we could really say any rules are conventional here, as they've never been enforced. There is a common "courtesy" I suppose, that most people seem to abide by.
What's become conventional is the outcries *for* conventional rulings on behavior, etiquette and the like.

@Forevagrey, we have the light rum for times when you don't really want rum at all, the dark rum when you might want rum but are not sure, and the black rum for all around use. For special occasions I can mix the light with the dark and float a little 151 on top. Good stuff.
