An idea concerning tokens
i don't know if somenone already suggest this, but i think it would be practical if the number of tokens left were shown to other users or at least when there is no more token to avoid getting 65 frustrating deliveries that you can't afford...
what do you think about this?

I think it's a great idea.

I think if tokens were publicized people that had tokens would probably be bombarded with deliveries. What might be cool is to have an option that you could click to have a notice appear when people want to deliver something to you that says "Not accepting deliveries at this time." That would then tell us which users are open to receiving deliveries.

It has been discussed before. Basically, the chefs want use to build a community by handling trading in more public manner (via the "blog forum"). Presenting an available Token count would privatize trading as trades would be made only to those with available Tokens, regardless of requests, and it would just become a point free-for-all with no community interaction.
As a side-note, The existing point-reward system is already doing some damage to the community interaction element of IconBuffet, as requests are now mostly handled on an individual "Who wants ..." basis rather than traditional community "I want ..." basis.

We feel there are ways to handle the frustration on the recipient's end that don't require token counts to be publicly visible.
