I Want to Learn to Make Icons
I am a graphic designer and fairly new to icon addiction. I would love to learn how to make my own icon sets for downloads on my website [ www.renmeleon.com ] or maybe even submit some here freelance (if they accept outside work) once I get good at it. Does anyone have any software recommendations? I am self-taught so I want to add it to my list of skills. Thank you to anyone who can provide information. :)

IconBuilder – from IconFactory – is a really nice, simple tool. The documentation that comes with it will also teach you a good deal about the fundamentals for making a basic icon(s).
I used it to make this set of icons.
