Which site-stats program do you use?
Personally I use Mint, which is not free, but supports lots of plugins for extra features called peppers! There are other site-stats programs like bbclone which is free, or even web-based like Google Analytics. Which one do you use and why? :-)

Used SiteMeter forever, until they started embedding über-invasive cookies. (BAD SiteMeter!) Now I use Google Analytics. Mint is pretty, but do they have any "last 100 referrals" sort of module? I didn't see anything like that when I checked out the demo, and it's the main thing I miss about SiteMeter.

Using Google Analytics at the moment. I keep looking at Mint though, just haven't made the jump yet.

@travisseitler: Yes, there is an option where you can define "Items per feed", so you could manage to have your last 100 referals.

Stratification, Mint is wonderful, definitely worth the money. I've had it for a while and completely love it, makes everything else look obsolete in my opinion. Especially the AJAX, it's so much easier to check different stats without having to ever refresh the page.

I use Google Analytics for my own sites and for client sites. First -- price -- it's free. Second -- Google Powered. Yes, there are occasional glitches, but no one has the man-power and resources of Google. There is little they don't seem to do well, and once I get used to the new interface, I'm sure I'll love it as much as before.
Additionally, Mint and others still eat system resources. GA uses Google's processing power.

Ok. I know I'm an antique now. I just use the raw Log files that the Hosting company provides for most of my sites.
I am starting to migrate over to GA on the sites that have a common include footer in them. I have one site on it now, and will migrate the other after completing the re-code this summer.

Yeah but google analytics does not show real time stats I think...

AWStats cos it's on my host already.

AWStats here as well

awstats for me too, or raw log files. depends on what I'm looking for at the time.

I use Mint as well. Love it.

I use Google Analytics and LiveStats. GA is great (but to marinagr's point, it is about 24 hours behind). LiveStats runs on our servers and sucks up resources. Microsoft announced they bought them a few weeks ago so that might lead to better features/performance.

Urchin. It's the only stats program that Rackspace supports.

Google Analytics rocks my world, particularly with the new reporting interface. Yes, the stats are not up-to-the-minute, but unlike other stats packages I've dealt with, GA actively attempts to educate its users. (All for free!) One of the basic concepts GA encourages people to understand is to look at trends in the stats, not just quantity of hits.
My $0.02.

LiveStats and Google Analytics. Amber, I'm not sure that Microsoft intends to continue LiveStats. You might want to look into that further. Our company is looking to roll off of LiveStats by January of this year and we are looking to replace it with something yet undetermined. We want an in-house solution where we control and own the log files...

Google Analytics has gotten more "real-time" than they used to with the latest patch. I'm seeing them update a few hours behind on average... you can't guarantee how often or when, though, so for good numbers you still have to wait a day. They've got great e-commerce and conversion reporting, though.
