Say Hello to Facebook | PackRat and say hello to Server Unavailable
Just got the email about Facebook | PackRat. but when I tried to follow the link to add the app:
Server Unavailable
Page built by PackRat
There could be something wrong or too many people trying to do the same.
Will try later!
:-(

Err it's been a bit slow on and off all day but now it seems to have gone Bye Bye. Hopefully it won't be down for long.

Massive influx of new users = growing pains. Looking good at the moment, though.
JBVisions on Jan 28, 2008
Really? Not here it isn't. I can't do anything much before it crashes again.

Getting the same problem.
Well, look on the bright side. No one can steal anything from you when the server's unavailible.
louiemctool on Jan 28, 2008
LOL
:D

Don't you believe it. I had a rare item, spent 40 minutes trying to keep the page up long enough to lock it and when I finally got back in it had gone.
I also had a steal available this morning that said Safe. Kept refreshing the page until the steal tab appeared. Hit it immediately and it said I was too late. When I checked who beat me it said they'd taken it 5 minutes earlier. Something is completely out of whack on there.

haha.
:)

Okay, same server by any chance? Does this mean Pack Rat load is going to screw up the Buffet too?
JBVisions on Jan 28, 2008
Is anybody still working on it or can I just give up for 6 hours or so?
sloan on Jan 28, 2008
@lou...I love it always when I laugh out loud for reals...my cats however run like crazy
Askq8 on Jan 28, 2008
Its working with me ?? :)
JBVisions on Jan 28, 2008
Really? I can't get anything but an error page.
louiemctool on Jan 28, 2008
clear the cache? reboot? install linux and never have problems again?
:p
JBVisions on Jan 29, 2008
Cache cleared, rebooted. On a Mac. Still just errors. Personally I think it's just jealousy cos I'm 16 levels ahead of the chefs. ;o)

Improving performance is our main priority right now. (And no, IB and PackRat don't affect each other's performance.)
But this is all really PackRat support-related and would be better addressed on the official discussion board.
