Sorry about not getting back to you sooner……..
Basically my usage for the icons is to personalize my desktop by changing the icons used by various operating system programs (for example if I have a shortcut to a web page - but I don't want to use Bill Gates' blue “e" on a white sheet of paper I change the icon through properties to one that I've downloaded from IconBuffet). Other people will use the icons on their web pages. On my web pages I usually use graphics that I’ve created and then resized. (I'm East of you in Gold Canyon, at the base of the Superstition Mts.)
Oooh Peter Gabe fan huh. I've got his album, the one called Peter Gabriel. Same as all the other ones called... Peter Gabriel.
The one with Solsbury Hill and Moribund and the Burgermeister. Met him once, back in 76ish I think. He does a mean punk version of "Whiter Shade of Pale" :-)
Good morning Sir Mango - I see you've now got yourself some icons. Now, as Jaybee says, you need to get yourself a nice cheese badge. Just don't frighten the folks here too much with your av - they're higher class here than some of the places we frequent ;-)
