World of Warcraft, anyone?
So, I've spent all my tokens (did that days ago) and used up all my stamps (again, days ago). And I find myself continuing to visit this site. (Great job to the Firewheel crew on making such a great addiction.)
And I find myself thinking that there must be a few of us here who are also addicted to World of Warcraft. Anyone?
If so, anyone interested in starting up an iconbuffet guild on one server or another? Horde or Alliance? Anyone?

I've often admired the compelling WOW-related threads sold at Jinx.com, but I've never dipped my toes into the game. I have a feeling that should I sample it and enjoy it that it will steal away much precious time.

I wish I had time to get back into WOW.. I used to play with some friends all the time when it first came out... now that I have moved away and work all the time I can't ever get on..
Keeblerelf on Mar 23, 2007
Too bad this didn't happen a few months ago. Had to cancel my account since I'm gearing back up to start taking classes again. :(
mcd on Mar 23, 2007
This is exactly why I refuse to get into WoW. Too many people saying "I had to cancel my account because it was taking too much time away from ________"
I think I already have enough distractions. :)
boxofjack on Mar 23, 2007
You should all cancel your WOW accounts and become VIPs instead!
*cough*
SpamDog on Mar 23, 2007
too late.. I VIP'ed and then blew all my tokens..

Well, interesting. :)

Addicted to WoW, yep.
Jackmcscratch on Mar 26, 2007
Never tried WOW, but Oblivion has the same effect - days just evaporate.
cry187 on Mar 26, 2007
I'm into games but never really tried any MMORG, I already have too many hobbies and interest. I know there is a big chance that I'll be addicted to it and if it happens it will definitely kill my small social life I still have.
Jen on Mar 26, 2007
Eep, it is definitely easy to get hooked on mmorpg. The interaction with others while playing a game is great! Not to mention all the stuff that can be collected (in most of them). Wow was my first and is most likely the last... yep I like it that much!

Yep, it sure is. I'm hooked too, but not on WoW. I.. uh.. um.. er.. okay. I play Toontown. There, I said it. =]
flippedcracker on Mar 26, 2007
never really tried it. just seems like i have better things to do.
Jen on Mar 27, 2007
Ahhh Disney!! JustG I had no idea that existed. xD -tempted-

Hm, couldn't get anything to come up with Toontown.
So, I guess the guild idea won't fly. But still, good to know I have at least one fellow addict here.
justG on Mar 27, 2007
Oh, you're right Jahnoth, that link is only useful if you visit it with a compatible browser. Here, try this one instead, which should work with any browser. They only recently became Mac-compatible, which meant I could start playing again. Happy days. =)

I play FFXI and that is an incredible timesink (much like this site). I know, for a fact, that if I got into WoW, I would no longer know what the sun is.
Jen on Mar 27, 2007
Lol Tamashii! I still work in my flower bed and bake things up in kitchen - and surf the net, and watch movies, and spend time with family, and go out to eat, and and.. it's all just discretion. :)
Justg: I'll consider it - but it's gonna have to be awesome to cut into Wow time. ;)

Okay, finally got to see the Toontown page. Heh, another money sink that I'm going to ignore, though. I'm most especially not going to show it to my kids. :)
justG on Mar 28, 2007
I *am* the kid. =]

WoW-addict... check. I have various 'toons (Horde and Alliance) on the Garona (US) server. Gave up playing Halo2 on xLive to start WoW over a year ago. Halo3 is enticing, however, the $600 price tag for a 360+H3 is too much right now!
Alana on Sep 10, 2007
i would totally start a new character in the mighty iconbuffet guild~!
KatieK on Sep 10, 2007
Not me. I only managed to get the Animal Crossing monkey off my back a few months ago. I know better that to start playing with high octane crack like WoW and FFXI. Until I win the lottery and don't have to work, that is.

I've been a mmorpg addict since 3 months before EQ 1 came out. >:D Played it for 6 mos., then switched to Asheron's Call when it first came out, switched to EQ 2...switched back to Asheron's Call...and now I'm a complete and total WoW addict. >:)
I very much have a life oog, but I am sure to set aside at least a wee bit of time each day to kill things. ::evil giggle::
My main is a lil elf lady on Tanaris named Galeforce--she's a hunter with a big red kitty. ;) Give me a holler if you're in the neighborhood!

I am on Icecrown Server, 70 hunter, 70 pally, 70 mage, 35 shammy. I started out my MMORPG career in Star Wars Galaxies, and after SOE screwed up my gaming experience there with thier evil ways, I made my poor refugee way to WoW, CoV, and Guildwars. WoW is still the only one I play with any regularity, I beta tested LoTRO and Vanguard, and am hoping to get on the beta test for Conan. All that gaming, I still manage to have a life, go figure...lol
