Personally, I haven't used any of the icons for a site or anything yet. Some are definitely worthy of blogs and the like, though.

I use pieces/parts of them for icons on application buttons. Nothing has been exactly what I needed, but a few were close enough that with a little modification they worked.

The smilies will probably be going into my blog, although I haven't decided Manhattan or Shanghai yet. Of course, I'll probably need to do a redesign to make it look right, but that's what summer break is for. I think I'll use the Anaheim alerts in the error messages software I'm writing for my business. I wish there were some free CMS icons.

Great question--mostly for collecting and hanging with IB friends, some on a neighborhood website I volunteered to do, some in emails, some on desktop for app/folder icons.

I just collect mine for now too - I have not worked out where I can use any of the current sets on my sites ... yet ...

I normally use them as either images/buttons within an application or when I need inspiration for a little image I'm creating myself.
