Need ideas

I've spent the day working on an imagemap for a site that's a floor plan of part of the local hospital. I've managed to find icons for most of the places of interest (mostly IB ones), including the coffee bar (easy - coffee mug from Authentic Jobs), florists (rose from Amsterdam Free Love), shop (shopping cart from one of the stock sets here), pharmacy (had to do my own), and blood testing clinic (syringe from Tokoyo Mad Scientist)....managed one way or another to find something suitable for them all, but now I'm stuck on the last one.

"Diabetic Education / Bereavement Services and Chaplain"

*sigh*

Bearing in mind it's a serious site, so I've got to be careful in the images I use (I did consider a coffin for "bereavement services" - maybe considered to be bad taste though <hehe>). I'm totally stumped now - clean out of ideas. I've already used a cross for the hospital's chapel, so can't use that. I'm thinking some sort of "hug" icon, or helping hand or something, but I can't really picture it in my mind, which is half the problem, and "diabetic education" - nothing springs to mind!

Anyone got any bright ideas?

hug icon is a good way to go I reckon. Can't really see how you will get a single icon that encompasses both aspects of that department. If IB doesn't have anything then there are loads of icons over at istock

You could use the church icon from Alexandria Architecture for the chapel and then use the cross for Bereavement Services and Chaplain

for Diabetic Education you could combine some of the food icons with a question (or checkmark or warning) symbol.

Excellent idea iqon! I'm going to combine some of the Taipei Tiny food icons for the Diabetic Services and Alexandria Architecture for the chapel sounds good. I've got Taipei Tiny, so that's not a problem, but not Alexandria Architecture....

So, special offer time! In the true spirit of Pirate sniping (arrrr!)...first one to send me Alexandria Architecture gets some free points! <g>

Thanks for the suggestions tommythewolfboy and bcarneiro. I did try a dove from dreamstime, but it just didn't seem to work with the other icons really (not as good as the IB ones ;-))

I'm off to bed now (almost 1am here now), so I'll check back in the morning.

Thanks all. I now have Alexandria Architecture. I'll post the results of my pixel mixing once I'm done. :-)
