Why doesn't my pic show up?
You are suffering from the infamous double dot png syndrom.
If you look at the code behind the page you'll see your avatar is stored as "6073_large..png". The ..png problem sometimes happens to uploaded images as they are converted to png format. Try converting it to .png yourself and uploading that.

Yeah, I agree this system is waaaayyy stricter on how you get icon sets. But, I guess that is the way the ball bounces. I think It makes it more challenging and also people have to make a living, so VIP gives them some $$$ in the icon makers pockets. Time is money, it takes time to make these cool icon sets. It's art. That's my two sense. It's still fun.
