Silly me for upgrading while I had tokens

So, the subscription doesn't add 30 tokens when you first get it, it REPLACES your current token count. As well, if I had known, I would have bought a membership after my token refill.

That it wipes out your free tokens, and it doesn't renew on your normal renew date both make me a little sad, and a little betrayed.

Sure, I only lost 3 tokens (or 3 bronze deliveries) with the membership, and the not on the natural renewal date makes me feel like I've lost 10 more.

Anyways, just some feedback from somebody who's been here for, feels like forever, finally took the VIP plunge, and then feels like he lost tokens for doing so.

Yep, if you're going to upgrade to VIP you need to spend all your Tokens, then wait until the next day to upgrade. If you don't the tokens you have in your account won't carry over and if you don't wait until the next day the Tokens you spent on that day will be deducted from your 30.

I did same thing. Lost 3 tokens, too. I say I don't care because that's nothing compared to all the free icon fun I've had. No biggie. ;0)

I am going VIP too.

Thanks for that advice dyar. My next refill is this Saturday, so it will be better for me to wait until Sunday to upgrade.

I seem to remember I lost a few too when I upgraded back before I'd figured out how everything worked. I was just blinded by the thought of 30 tokens instead of 10 (however did I manage on just 10???!!!). Like ZsaZsa says though, no biggie. Sharing the icon love and having fun's what it's all about.
