I arrived on this planet the day after a short, skinny guy calling himself Dan Cooper jumped out of a TWA jetliner over Washington State.
Things have since gotten weirder.
A little over three decades later, I now spend my time encouraging the weirdness by writing fiction, music, (particularly lyrics, and particularly filk), singing, and greatly enjoying the company of friends and loved ones. I somehow managed to marry a marvelous lady, the lovely and praiseworthy [info]argentee, who is smarter and in many ways tougher than I am.
My other great love is voice acting. Someday, I could be the next Don LaFontaine or Maurice LaMarche, except perhaps without the "La" in my last name. I pay the bills with a variety of odd jobs and freelance work, and hope to return to college for a broadcasting degree sometime soon, which should help pave the way.

This site is a very interesting social experiment. Ultimately, it adds value to sharing and trading: the more everyone shares, the more everyone gets in return. Nobody loses, even if each person has different goals. Fascinating.
