Hash Puzzle - current category is Video Games
I'm going to post a category, which will contain one or more questions. The questions are all given in the form of clues.
To check your answer, find its MD5 hash (a special string of characters for verifying whether two things match) by clicking here and entering your answer in the box– use all lowercase letters unless the answer always contains a capital letter (for instance, the name of a set of icons). If the hash you get matches the one for that question, you've got the correct answer! When you have the correct answer, post it here and you'll get a spot on the leaderboard.
Leaderboard

soprano on Jul 18, 2008
Oro Solidó, La Banda Gorda, The English Concert, and the last one isn't on Wikipedia's list of musical groups established in 1999.
Betty on Jul 18, 2008

???, Jerusalem, Casino, Blaster
soprano on Jul 22, 2008
The first one isn't on Symantec's list.
B3llit0 on Jul 22, 2008
No, it's not. It's more accurately described as a browser-based exploit, though some do consider it a virus.
Liquix
on Jul 22, 2008
I remember the last virus. I ues to play around with my friends using it in the late 90's. Have to see if I can remember the name >.<
Liquix
on Jul 22, 2008
Bellito? Is it a javascript or java-based virus?
SawanM
on Jul 23, 2008
Jerusalem, Casino and Blaster.
B3llit0 on Jul 23, 2008
Sorry, Soprano already got those three.
@Liquix: Yeah, it's Java-based. Harmless, too– just annoying.
soprano on Aug 08, 2008
I think we're all stuck on the first one; it's been more than two weeks since anyone posted anything.
B3llit0 on Aug 08, 2008
It's NoisyBear. Java exploit of sorts that plays an annoying drum noise that doesn't stop till you quit the browser. Source code for it is out, as is a page that lets you see it.
soprano on Aug 08, 2008
No, it's not – your hashsum says 393fa59fa77c2fffe5de0f4ae3718666, while the real hashsum is 4f73e1102c965e7cb5757b6fd1e4c150.
No wonder I couldn't figure it out.
B3llit0 on Aug 09, 2008
Hm, I don't know what happened– try different capitalisation.
annikalee on Aug 09, 2008
it works if you use "Noisybear"
soprano on Aug 09, 2008
Oh well.
B3llit0 on Aug 09, 2008
Want me to do another?
soprano on Aug 09, 2008
Absolutely.
