Hey, friend... a prayer request. My carpal tunnel surgery (left hand) is tomorrow about 11 a.m. EST. I'm having the long incision type surgery. I'm somewhat nervous (the only surgery I ever had was as a little kid (tonsils and adenoids removed). I'd appreciate all the prayers I can get for the surgery to go well, and that my recovery time will be quick, and that I'll have patience during the healing. I so want to regain proper sensitivity in my palm, thumb, and fingers without the pain and numbness I've been experiencing, and pray I will be able to regain strength and dexterity. Thanks a lot! About your document format and fonts-- I DO have comments, and I appreciate you asking what I thought. Sorry I did not get back to you on this right away. For a while I was sneaking in some snippets of IB time while using my husband's computer, monitoring some downloads he wanted, as I cruised the forum, and fiddled around a bit.

Here are my comments:

-- The Syntax Letter Medium choice for headlines is nice, especially with color.

-- I really like your idea of color-coding to subject.

-- Frutiger is an excellent pick as an option for tables, math items, etc.
-- Sabon for main text adds distinction to your paper.

Two comments about changes you might consider:

-- I'd like your use of Sabon (and Helvetica) better at the sizes used if you eased up on the tracking a bit. The characters are running too tight. Trust me, just as you built in an easier-on-the-eyes linespacing, remember to be sparing in the tracking at 12 point and under. Have mercy on old eyes, lol, while letting the characters have dignity and clarity. Avoid making the words stand out as neighbors who keep to themselves. Remember, you still have the linear momentum to carry the eye along.

-- Another suggestion I have would be to increase slightly the default for the tabs where the text follows the numbering or bullets (since you increased the general linespacing).
